I RECIEVED AND INSTALLED MY RS5 PRO TITANIUM PIPE TODAY, AND I NOTICED THE CANISTER WAS ALUMINUM, SO I CALLED YOSHI AND ASKED THEY SAID THEY DO NOT MAKE ANY OF THE RS5'S A TITANIUM CANISTER IT'S JUST THE PIPE THAT'S TITANIUM. ALSO I ASKED ABOUT THE HEAT SHIELD BECAUSE I NOTICED JONES AND GUST'S BIKES HAVE YOSHI HEAT SHIELDS AND MINE CAME WITHOUT ONE THEY SAID YOU HAVE TO USE YOUR STOCK ONE. THAT SUCKS BECAUSE MY BROTHER HAS A TITANIUM TRC ON HIS TRX450R AND IT CAME WITH A YOSHI HEAT SHIELD, YOSHI SAYS THEY CUSTOM MADE THOSE SHIELDS FOR THEM. I ALSO WAS WONDERING WHAT DO YOU GUYS USE FOR A WASH PLUG ON YOUR RS5 CAUSE THE ONE THEY GAVE ME IS ROUND.THANKS

well that sucks that you bought that system without doing a little reading on here first :( (it would have saved you $250.00 ) it totally sucks that for the kind of money we spend on their stuff we get shorted. my trc system i bought last year for my ltz didn't come with the heat shield either.

First ... PLEASE DO NOT TALK IN ALL CAPS...... makes it harder to read and that is considered "yelling" or "raising your voice".

See it helps when you use it for effect...... that totally SUCKS about your pipe. That is an EXPENSIVE head pipe. Yoshi has been a little disappointing, as of late.

You know what, I'm going to have to agree with JAKELTR450....Cause I'm a heavy guy compared to most racers. I'm at 235!!!! And I talked with the guys at yoshimura and the titanium is about 2lbs. lighter than the Comp. Series....So in my case I got the Pro Series cause ever one should know the lighter you are the faster you are....So if it takes me $250 bucks to get every advantage I can get, guess what I'm taking it!!!!!

If you go to Yoshis tech site they have some interesting info on the Ti systems - not all good for longevity !

i've had my ti yosh trs system on my ltz now for a year and i also ride almost every weekend and it's sand, fast desert trails and my system has has broken rivets on the can and have lost numerous springs that hold it together and can't get the right ones so i had to go to freakin polaris snow mobile springs. i'm not a yosh fan, and yes there customer service sucks!
