I called yoshi yesterday and didn't have exact prices yet but he figured they would be:
Cherry Bomb:$50
EMS:$400
Full Stainless Exhaust: $575

He also said that the cherry bomb gives you the agressive map from the EMS as long as you are running Under 2000 ft elevation? I thought that was the beauty of EFI? I dont know I guess I have some learning to do.

After looking at the Yosh stuff...I am considering the "Cherry Bomb"...what is your opinion on warranty?

I could potentially see the CB voiding the entire computer and injection system warranties...anybody else?

I have been ordering parts the past few days now. Tomorrow I'm going to call Yoshi and order a exhaust and the EMS. I understand the Cherybomb, and the EMS Module, but is the EMS Fuel Injection Map Adjuster Kit necessary? It says you can adjust the amoutn of fuel at various points. It seems a bit complicated to me. Any thoughts or ideas?

It isn't the easiest thing in the world to work, but if it's anything like the cannondale system it's a must-buy

Adjusting your fuel mapping air fuel ratios at different rpm points, injector pulse width, duration, and frequency (for cars not sure how far the adjustmets go for a quad or by Yosh's ems) is something that if you do not know what you are doing... buying one and simply playing around can make your bike lose power easier than gain it! It is easy to make your ride run rough, hard to start or not run at all... so beware before you buy one because they are cool to remember your factory default settings I'd go with the Yoshimura cherry bomb, full exhaust, air box lid and then see how much further I want to go!

that is what i am gona do because im not gona monkey around with that fuel mapping manualy im gona geta cherry bomb, take the air lid off, and take the baffle out and see how it runs, if i feel i could use a pipe and a filter then i will buy one or both.(which i will end up doing anyways:))

Since the cherry bomb can just be unplugged, warranty should not be an issue. Just remove it prior to going to the dealer if you are worried. The EMS will not (from what I understand) work with the Cherry Bomb, but like the cherry bomp, EMS will require a plug in module with will stor the fuel map and other data. The EMS will plug into that module for programming. From what I understand all the programming is on the module and once the module is removed, all goes back to stock and would be un tracable. I am not sure how the other programmers work, but I personally would not want to change the programming on the factory computer if I can add a removable module that can be programmed to override the factory settings. It just makes more sense and seems safer. I like the fact that I can just remove a module and go back to stock.

Is a computer or laptop needed to use the Yoshi FI remapping products or will it just plug in? I know with a diesel chip, there are questions to answer, but it is all contained with the module. Thanks for the help.

If we willl be able to change maps and the settings in the maps I'll get one and see what can be done, I helped with alot of cannondale tuning and if the settings are as they are with them We will be gettting power aout of the injection systems soon!! I pick up my Zuk this weekend and getting a DMC full pipe sometime during the mid of next week so we will see some differences with my AFR meter
