I just heard a rumour over here in Australia that Yoshi are recalling there LT-R450 gear over there. Is this true? It came from a reliable person but he still wanted to know more. Can anyone confirm this? Kyle you herd anything?

Someone posted that Yoshi was going to do a recall because of packing in the pipe, but they ended up not doing it and just stopped production for a while till the issue was fixed.

The first batch of Yoshi's didnt have an access hole to remove the spark arrestor. This problem has been fixed and every thing is now good to go.

if you got yours indirectly, be it a dealer who gets theirs from parts unlimited or any other middle man, odds are they dont know about the situation. Trust me dont send it back unless you dont want to see your pipe for a few months.

Just drill a small hole in the bottom of the cap and remove your arrestor yourself.

Use a dremel and grind the opening on the bottom of the endcap till you can get at the bolt. If your carefull you can grind it into a V shape and it will look like it came from the factory like that.
