Just curious if any of the other Yoshi pipe owners have repacked the muffler yet? Reason being is I noticed on the front page of the installation instructions it says it should be repacked every 6-8 hours of use, or after each moto. That seems like a very short interval to me for some reason... I'm just curious what other Yoshi owners think and/or have done. Thanks.

Yeah, I read that too. But I had my titanium RS5 for about three weeks with probably close to 30 hours riding time on it and I didn't notice any problems with the packing (it didn't seem any louder from when I first installed it). But it doesn't really matter as I just sold my LT (sold my other one last weekend) as I'm jumping ship and buying a 07 YFZ (might wait for the KTM but I highly doubt it). Wait till you see what the boys over at Yamaha have been up to....

Yamaha, and the rest of them (eg. Honda, Kawasaki) are always at least one step behind Suzuki when it comes to sport quads. Look how long it took them to top the Z400.
By the time Yamaha or any other company comes out with a quad to beat the 06 LTR, Suzuki will be even futher ahead!!

Yeah, you have a kid and next thing you know your 2 seat sports cars are gone along with all your other toys. The one thing I get to hang on to are my quads (thank god she grew up riding or I might be totally f*cked!). There the only toys I get to play around with anymore....

By the way, has anybody had their recall done? Just wondering how there going to match the paint....that is actually the reason I sold my last LT because I didn't see how they were going to match the paint and I really didn't want a stamp put in front of my VIN # so everyone could see my bike was a remanufactured reject (I had two LT's because I was going to set up one for the track and one for the dunes like I did with my YFZ's but I find now days I like to just ride the dunes so no reason for two bikes anymore). Its really going to depreciate all the bikes effected. But a big thumbs up to Suzuki for stepping up to the plate and fixing them. Anybody remember the 01 Raptors? Yamaha didn't back them up and a lot of people got suck footing the bill for a new tranny and even a new engine. I know I got stuck with paying for both. All well, never really liked the Raptor anyway. Now about that new KFX coming out.....

Behind Suzuki when it comes to sport quads? Wasn't it the late eighties the last time Suzuki made a "sport" quad before the 03 Z400? Yamaha had the Banshee all those years, the Raptor came out in 01, and the YFZ, the puriest sport quad, came out in June of 03. I think Yamaha has a little more bragging rights when it comes to who has produced the most and best "sport quads" through the years. And didn't it take three years before Suzuki answered with the YFZ? Even Honda came out with their 450 back in 04.....
