varmint they are a pain to press off.i had to send mine to yosh to do.we got them apart but had no way of lining them back up.there are no marks, pins,or splines on the cams to line the gear back up.not sure how you could do it as the timing marks on the two gears are not alike either.also i noticed that after i got the cams back they welded the gear on(tacked).just a heads up figure a way of marking them before you press them apart.also yosh recomended to me just to use the intake cam as they were getting more hp using the stock exhaust cam.i have only the intake in mine and it ripsI should have my yoshi RMZ cams on fri and I will be installing them on saturday I hope the sprockets arent to much of a pain to press off but it will be worth it.

im sure you will have no problems if you degree it in where yosh recommends.i have a cp piston in mine wich i think has even less clearance and it is ok.the fixture should work and is what we would have done if we known there were no pins or anything to line the prick back up.they tacked mine in two spots directly across from each other.just a small bead.I am going to put the new cam in an indexing fixture and mark it out and then before I press off the sprockets I will put that cam in the fixture and mark out the sprocket, but what im not sure of is yoshi tells me I do not need to clay the motor because there has not been any clearence problems but I sure would be pissed if the piston hit the valves, and I think I will TIG a small bead on the sprocket once im sure everything is correct.
