Very true, but when the competition releases a machine equipped with a feature that has as much hype around it as FI; alot of people are going to question whether they add it or not. Would not have surprised me one bit to see them avoid the rule this year to keep up with market changes, but I guess this isn't a total kick in the teeth either. I guess it's still a possibility for this year with Yamaha, but I'm not going to hold my breath.why is this any surprise? the big four (honda, suzuki, kawi, yamaha) almost always update their main racing machines every two years, just like their sportbikes. They wouldn't make any money if they updated their bikes every year. Dealers would refuse to get stuck with outdated bikes year after year and would stop selling their products. Simple as that. [/b]
