well As you guys might know by now if you look in the for sale section, Im selling the ltr. I just dont find quadding fun anymore, and would rather have a streetbike. Thanks for everything, you guys really have taught me a lot of stuff. I know Ive scewed up a lot, and your critisism(sp?) has helped me out. So I guess all I have to say now is good luck with everything, and try to keep it fun (or else you'll be like me and sell it before you know it,lol)

Well.......REGARDLESS......you are a MEMBER here.

Whether or not you ride a LTR, a BUSA or a Harley ---- you are welcome here. Post some pics of your new ride when you get it. :scoot:

AND do be careful --- I have been riding on the street for almost 20 years now....... I have had plenty of street, dual-sport bikes -- now I have a Harley..... JUNKIE, I am showing my age........ It is DANGEROUS.

When you are on the track...we all have a mutual respect for each other ----- we "watchout" for each other. ON THE ROAD...Most people don't give a shit about you....they don't understand.

HAVE FUN --- but -- BE SAFE

Thanks for ALL of the laughs and always being a good sport .... Stay in touch.........

Hey you tried stuff that nobody else was brave enough to, that is more then I can say. Have fun on the scooter and wear a helmet, You probably don't have a bankroll like big ben to fix yourself back up if you crash and burn. :scoot:

At your age good luck on the insurance ;)

Good luck with insurance is right! I bought a new Kawasaki ZX6R last August, and full coverage insurance will set you back over $2000 a year  . However, my LTR :scoot: full coverage insurance is only about $300 a year. Insurance companies :smiley_gun: don't want anything to due with sport bikes.

Awe Wally no need to leave!

But hey think about it if your LTR is almost paid off keep it, then go find a used street bike and finance 4 or 5 grand, once you get rid of the LTR you will regret it like crazy especially if your buddies ride, youll end up watching them have fun instead of enjoying with them. However bikes rock, i have had mine two months and love it, but i would never sacrafice my quad for it!

BTW, Canadian, i just bought a ZX6R two months ago....i pay 233.00 every 6 months for full coverage  it pays to have a clean record and two other vehicles on the policy :)

Hey Duner4life, what is your insurance company? I also have other vehicles on policy and a spotless driving record (not one ticket or accident). However, I'm only 21. I think my age is one reason it is so high.

Wally, keep the quad! The only thing better than a street bike is a sport quad and a street bike.

I have State Farm, been with them for a while. Im only 23 so it should be about the same as you. What helps is i also have life insurance through them and my brother has a multiple car coverage too so they might hook it up with the discounts cause of same family, although we live in different households. Some times its better to have a big name company then one of these little mom and pop insurance companies. Do you have newer or older cars on the policy? I have a 71 caddy and a 83 chevy pick up so that might be a factor too.

And having both is by far the best thing in the world, but dont forget that streetbikes have lots more tractions so wheelies are somtimes unexpected. :scoot:
