Well I got my stock shocks revalved and resprung by Works and all I can say is, wow! I had them set up for WORCS (XC & MX) type of racing and my riding weight of course. These are triple rates with black and red springs, the preload adjustability is done with out any wrenches as you just turn the top ring to get the height adjusted. I didn't want to go with zero preload as that would have dropped the front end an inch and a half over stock. The bike does now sit about 3/4 of an inch lower which is were I wanted it. The rear single rate shock was revalved but did not need to have the spring changed as Works said it is pretty much dead on.
You notice a plusher feeling ripping through the whoops and landings are soaked up better. I did stiffen up the dampining though for better cornering. For $750.00 including shipping I feel like I saved quite a bit as I would have spent over two grand replacing all three shocks. I'm telling you these stock shocks are great when you get them set up for your weight and riding style. If your concerned about the oil used in the shock I spoke to them and the assured me they only use top notch products. Also you can have your choice of spring colors red, white, black, and that ugly ass powder blue. Sorry the pics are low resolution as I had to use my camera phone. Hope this helps!

Well I live in Las Vegas should I say any more, fraud capital of the USA and now growing towards the crime capital.

All three bikes are locked up in the garage to a load baring post. Normally through the frame though. Mostly just a detterent in case the garage door was left open by accident. Plus if your neighbors are talking to people about you they will probably say "My neighbors got some nice stuff in his garage and it's always chained up!" You just never know about who else knows what you got! Just peice of mind! ;)
