OMG - I cant take this any more - I must bid now !!
I have ordered the spring kit for the front and a rear spring for my weight. A shop I know built a tool to take the rear shock apart. Works said they'll ship the kit on Monday. I got it second day air so hopefully it gets to the shop by next thursday. I'm only 120lbs so the rear shock is just way to stiff. I can't wait to see how the kit works.
120 pounds! Dang, do you even need shocks? You are just a wee one aren't you, GET IN MY BELLY!!!!

LMAO...yea i might look into gettin them to my weight too...i only way 160 with my gear on and when i sat on one it didnt seem to go down much
You guys think the rear shock is too stiff? I love it and im only around 130lbs. I lowered the high and low speed compression all the way down and the rebound about half way. I also put the preload all the way down too. It feels great. the fronts are the only problem, their still a little too stiff. Have you guys adjusted the rear shock? it can get really soft.
I don't why people are complaining about the shocks? Every shock can't be made for everyones riding style, weight, and where they use it. Thats why they have adjusters, like high and low speed comp, rebound, and other adjustments on the shocks. If u need them changed then have some company take yours and have it revalved, and setup just for you. They will work just as well as Elkas, PEP, Ohlins, TCS and all the others.

Keep us posted on how it works for you, also what did you pay for the front and rear kit
im 145 with riding gear! and the shocks are way too stiff im gettin bounced around like a rag doll and almost bucked off the quad when landing a big jump so i called works today about the spring kits and im sending them out tomorrow here is what im gettin done and prices
front: spring kit triple rate with heart transplant, this is what works called it (revalve and rebuild) for my weight and riding style $259 kit,$199 heart transplant
rear :spring (lighter ) and heart transplant for my weight and riding style heart transplant$179,spring$100
$259
$199
$179
$100
+______
$737

he did say that i might be able to get away with just the spring kit for the front if i dont want to spend the money for the revalve on the front but the rear is a must ! so im still thinkin about that !! haha i dont think this is a bad deal since they will be built just for me and i would spend over a grand in front shocks alone so what do you guys think

just knew alot of your were wondering on prices hopes this helps call works and ask for sandy he is a very nice guy and helps alot !!!

looks like decent prices but i still dont think you needed to send the rear in at all. If you adjusted it right your would be fine. I weigh about 135 and im just fine with the rear going over whoops and whatever i hit. If you took all the compression down, the preload down, and lowered the rebound theres no way it was that stiff for you.
i didnt back off everything completely but u ride in sand and that more forgiving ?
i have the works spring kit i did a review search on the other r450 stite for it
