A while back I used some Gasoline to get some black boot marks off my quad.... didn't really notice anything till I pulled some stickers off

It was started in another post but I figured it warrented its own topic.

I've used googone, rubbing compound, metal polish, simple green and still have the yellow hue..... its not really noticeable unless you stare hard at where my rear fender sickers were.

Your bike must have gone really fast, that is the only way the yellow starts to show it's true colors. You see, every LTR starts out white as it is broken in then after you take it beyond the slow period the true color (yellow) starts to show and then eventually all of your plastics will turn yellow. This is how you know the bike has be broken in and exceeded the mph recommended by the manufacture!

Try using soft scrub. I've used it on my z for years and now on my LTR. The stuff works magic. For the really bad boot marks, put alittle soft scrub on very fine steal wool and work the scuffs out. Its looks really messy at first, like it is getting worse till you wash it off with more soft scrub. Then wahla, white plastic again. Then the best part is you are no longer a slower yellow ltr (if there is such a thing as a slow ltr).
