Did tcs raise there prices to 975.00 they use to be 750.00 and 850.00. well who evers looking and willing to spend 200.00 extra dollars for a fully adjustable shock let me know cause 975.00 is way to much for those shocks unless thats with comp. and rebound but I don't tcs has rebound yet heard they were working on it but nothing done yet. If you race you will find that rebound is much more important than compression.

Ohlins is definately new to the atv scene but they are quickly putting their stuff together. They have dumped lots and lots of cash into the R&D. After all they pretty much own the street bike scene, dirtbikes, and coilover street machines so just give them a little more time and their stuff will be great. Who cares that they are funky lookin

are you crazy ohlins is probly been in the atv scene longer than any other company I think gary denton use to run them when he won his champion ships so thats a solid15 to 20 years so ohlins i would say they're not that new to the scene but a very nice shock ran them on a couple of my sled but never on a quad. Ohlins would be a safe pick for sure. Happy hunting

Team Honda ATVs ran Ohlins shocks back in the middle '80s. One of the 250rs that I have is from one of the factory riders that finished 3rd overall in the Baja 1000 in like '85 or 86. Yes thats OVERALL beating all the trucks and buggies and all but 2 bikes that year... Ohlins junk??? haha someone got some bad valving

Was that factory rider Dean Sundahl?

Denton had Ohlins I believe for the majority of the championships he won-I think. I know he had them the 3 years he raced us in our big event here on Guam.

I ran Ohlins for the five years that I raced in Japan on a Banshee and liked them. I did switch later when shocks that had compression adjustment became available actually to TCS- Denton had recommended them. My ohlins had rezies but no compresion adjustment but were solid and never failed or blew.

No Dean Sundahl rode for Yamaha from '85 on. Maybe a small stint on kawasakis.

pic is the '86 Baja 1000 starting line - Yamaha Banshee debut w/ 2 entries Dean Sundahl on the left, Rod Fowler on the right
