Ok, now that we have thrown in our money into our bikes, what do most of you do when it is time to sell the quad in a few years. I know, the simple answer is lose money. But, what is the thought process on this. Mine is to basically spend the cash, and have fun with it, experience it. Pay for the experience and don't worry too much about the costs.

I know I will lose a few grand on this quad in the future, but I would like to minimize the loss...any suggestion or thoughts on this? I mean, I am not rich like some others I know, so a few thousand in loss hurts sometimes.

You only live once!

Buy the bolt on's you want and keep the stock parts. They aren't worth selling. When you sell the bike, then sell the aftermarket goodies. They still hold their resale decently as others still want them. Then put your stock parts back on.

When I sold my built kfx, I sold more $$ worth of bolt on's than I got for the price of the complete bike that was still a bigbore motor and chromed :( Sad, but true......

Don't let others ride your machine. I kinda learned the hard way. The guy crashed my bike straight into a tree.... Wrecked the front bumper and bent the left lower swing-arm in a 1/4" (frame bent). Doesn't affect the performance and you can barely tell but its still annoying...
