Well Not really...
But i finally got the hang of it somewhat. Just had to find the point where im in the air and can hold it giving a little bit of throttle. Was doing it in the sand which made it alot easier....

Its funny cuz i dont know how many times i revved it to hard and it bucked all the way back on the wheel bar and i just fell off hahahaahahahahaahh...

So yeah..I was pretty hyped. I just started riding in MAR this year

The only way i can hold a wheelie longer than 100ft is by putting my leg on the seat. I know this will sound stupid but instead of using my left leg, i use my right. I've heard to use your left so u can hit the rear brake with your right. Well i feel mor stable on my Left.

Its all about finding a ballance point, i can wheelie as long as i want pretty much until i can hold on anymore.

This works for everything, i can ride a stand wheelie on my gsxr1000 for miles, its all about throttle control and a balance point.

If you wheelie against the wind you can turn the quad with weight transfer and turing the wheels while they are in the air.

Just before it does this ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Brings the front end back down...we actually have a friend that rides a YFZ and he wheelies so much he puts rear brake pads on about 2-3 times per year and one rotor/year. I swear that is all he does!

My friends and I actually ride (keep presure on) the back brake during wheelies. It slows down the actions and keeps it smoother. :scoot:

I find my smoothest wheelies are when I start in 3rd gear, you have all of 3rd, 4th and 5th to work with..

MY wheelie is in those gears too, I can hold a wheelie with my foot off the back for awhile at 40mph for atleast a few hundred feet. But i still can't sit and wheelie at the same time,

I came off a raptor and thought the ltr was easy to wheelie. At the end of the first week I had it I was doing wheelies a half mile long at silver lake. I can bring it up in any gear up to 4th, or shifting my way to fifth.
I'd recommend sitting first and covering the back brake with your foot just in case you feel yourself going past the balance point. You should eventually get to the point where you don't need the brake. I don't think I've used it once on the ltr
