Canuck...this will really drive you crazy but...you have to go to the parts counter and get a set of stock Yamaha lug nuts. They have a flat side to them. I know it sounds crazy but thats what you have to do. I know because had the same problems with my beadlocks.

Keep it on all fours :D

Canuck...yes they are the same. I know because I have 16 on my bike right now :D

Quad...if you flip them over the tapered side is larger than the actual nut itself so you can't get a socket on them...a picture says a thousand words

Yamanut

UN-Yamanut

Fits good

Hey crazy canuck,
There is a Yamaha Dealership on the Left/East side of the road when you roll into North Bend on 101 south. You can get all the parts you need down at the beach, there are all the major dealerships, but just remember that they mark everything way up because they know your kinda screwed if you break something out there. They know you need it and they have it and it's a long ways back to a major city. Kinda like the tow truck driver charging whatever he wants when he finds you broke down in the desert, lol.

Or, You could just go down to the hardware store. Get some flanged nuts. 10mm, and I think the pitch is 1.25. For about the price of one nut from the dealer.

Be careful getting them from a hardware store, not many have the exact same size. Most are smaller nut (14mm) and overall surface of the washer is small in comparison to Yamanuts. Also wouldnt hurt to have a dot of Loctite on the studs, I speak from experience on this one. I ovaled out the holes on my paddles last weekend when I lost two lugnuts. And FYI, there is no Suzuki dealer between North Bend and Eugene, so be careful how far north you go.
