Hey guys!
I was needing some advice on my rebuild...
I needed new intake valves so I tore my motor down and I found that my valve seats look to be in great shape but Ive heard that even when they look fine they still need to be cut etc...
the valves were shot. that was for sure but should I send it off to get it cut or do you think if I just put new valves in it and lapped them it would be fine?

you should have your seats cut and you don't want to lap the titanium valves. I would just send them off check Williams performance he does real good work just got mine done from him.

well Im switching to stainless valves which is a plus.
Im on a tight budget with this build is why Im trying to do the best with what I have

I'd be more concerned with what looks like pitting in the sealing area of the head gasket in pic 1.

That's actually some of the old gasket that was stuck on the head when I took it off

Stainless valves are never a plus over titanium. By the time you buy stronger springs you aren't saving any money going stainless.

Ive actually found both the intake and exhaust valves in kits fairly cheap.
ProX ... im going to try them and see what happens
