Heres my dilima,,,, yesterday I was pm'ed on another site by a guy who wants to trade bike for bike. His is a 03 LSR CRF490. The motor has been worked over and freshly rebuilt (crank, rod, piston, etc....) Gibson front end w/ PEPs and a LSR swingarm w/ an Axis. White 250r plastic w/a quadtech hood. Douglas wheels (rolled edge fronts and beadlock rears w/ new Razr tires. I'm waiting on pics and a more complete list of parts. He's asking $9000 for the bike. Think I sould trade and could I sell this bike or part it out easier????? So like my title says tellmewhatcathink??????????????

Dont be a retard, I wouldnt touch that bike with a 10' pole. Why do you think he wants to trade? If it was a killer machine he would be keeping it for himself.

Just remember this: anytime someone wants to trade with you it is because they think its better than there's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PLUS DONT FEEL BAD IF THE GUY HAS ENOUGH CHEESE TO BUILD A HYBRID 250R THAN HES GOT ENOUGH CHEESE TO BUY AN LTR.........on second thought if it comes with a cowbell..mmm......nahhhh dont do it even it is a shiny one........

What if I got someone on the hook for this LSR bike??? I've got someone looking for a bike but is stuck on buying one w/ long travel arms and shocks. He was gonna buy mine till I told him it had stock suspension. He seems like one of those "pros" that has to have the cool stuff even if something else would work fine for what he is doing. You know the type, has a $20k bike and won't jump a 20' double!!! Says he jumps "BIG" stuff and needs good suspension. I'll still take his money if I can though

Allow me to make a few points...

#1. The guy stated he had a bad back and couldn't ride anymore...if he was magically cured then YOU should get the name of his Dr. and go see him about that bad stick of yours...

#2. He's been trying to sell this since JANUARY!!!...what does that tell you?...

#3. What happened to the 6-pack Cuda?...thats a $50,000 car...and I'll trade THAT guy ANYDAY of the week and twice on Sunday...so get me his number... :lol:

And lastly..

#4. Seems like your wheeling and dealing...and it all may work for ya?...or you could end up like me with a garage full of stuff and lots of good intentions...but still a garage full of stuff...

Should have made it more clear..... The guy who has it now bught it from this guy. The guy who currently has it wants to race WPSA where they only have Production class rules. Don't know what happen to that other guy and his cuda, but I've had great deals fall through before myself. I'm still trying to get this guy in OH to tell me what he wants and thinks about this one.
