damn i think i will get that unless some other company comes out with a better looking one i like that airbox cover too bad it will restrict airflow and i am planning on runnin without a lid and possibly removing the airbox.

That is a great looking part. You can never go wrong with billet. Can anyone say CARBON FIBER ....... yes working on it. As soon as i get my bike bike i will finally be developing the Carbon fiber stuff.

Are you doing all the carbon stuff or do you have a body guy that does it?

He knows a guy that will build them from scratch...he makes a mold with the existing part and then goes from there...all he needs is the original part...

The guy is good...I met him a couple of years back and talked extensively about some stuff for my Chevelle...nice guy and great end product...can't wait...

Plus i will putting my own FUELATV touches on all of the parts.

I was just curious about the process. I've done a few small things in fiberglass and was just interested on how carbon is done.

Very similar. Alot of parts .... actually most ATV parts are Fiberglass the a layer of carbon fiber over the top.

When I was talking to him he told me that anyone could do carbon fiber...the real trick was making the end product look good...so you know his stuff is gonna look sik

thats what i kinda figured, just using a carbon based resin instead to a standard fiberglass resin.

Steve, are you looking at doing the entire bat box out of CF? It would be plenty tough and look better IMO than just a cover. I was thinking of making a complete box out of SS, but I might just hold out until you get something whipped up.
