I picked my bike up friday from DASA. Here is what i had done for anyone who has not followed the build. I have a DASA pipe, Mild DASA porting, MILD DASA cams, PIM, no air box lid, STOCK air box no lid, STOCK air filter, STOCK piston, STOCK compression and dyno tuned. The bike made just over 55 HP. Once i get the Trinity intake, K&N filter, and cut the air box i will re-dyno it. Dan did do a run with the seat off to see how much more power it would make. With the seat off it made ALMOST 2 more HP. So removing or modding the air box will make more power NO QUESTION.
Now for the good stuff ...... this bike was amazing to ride. It had more power thought the WHOLE power band. The power did not have a hard 2 stroke hit. It did pull strong and could lift the wheels at will. IMO this is the Ultimate dune, trail, or recreation rider setup. The gearing was WAY off to race the hill but great for dunning. The bike would rev out 3rd about mid hill and pull 4th, but will not pull 4th hard enough. So once the intake ect. is installed i will run the hill again to see where it is at before regearing. I also had 9 cup glidders installed. The bike seemed to really spin them way too hard now out of the hole. I had 4 psi in them. Once the bike is done i will air them down. I will also try the 6 cup haulers i have to see if i can get some more bite ..... as it really needs it now for drag racing. I let anyone who wanted to ride it take it for a spin. So better to hear it from .... Sandjunkie, MikeLTR ..... or anyone else that rode it.

Thats pretty good for the mods you have. Also, I know what you mean about gearing (so much bike yet I cant show it on the hill because the gearing is screwed). Not to steal your thread, but based on your numbers I am probably pushing the 60 mark without any airbox mods.

The hill did my bike no justice. Gearing was way off. yes you are pushing 60 forsure. dan is thinking about 63 with race porting, big web cams, high compression piston, intake, and airbox mod. So basically 6 more HP with piston, bigger cams and better porting. I will be doing a engine with all of these mods next moth. i will post the dyno sheets. It is going to be a monster.

Some may not think 55 horse is all that impressive but i sure do. Thats a very healthy motor you have Fuel. I wish you luck with it and hope you get to enjoy it for a good long time. The nice thing is your not tapped out for power, plenty o mods still lurking :bangbang:

Thanks ........ I cannot wait to install the intake, K&N, and mod the air box. For me the gearing is PERFECT for ridding, but not for the hill. Once i install the K&N, mod the air box and install my intake i will see how it does. I am not going to regear until i get these mods done and try it. I have stock gearing now.

Yepp...Fuels bike has one hell of a pull...the first thing I noticed was a real HEALTHY powerband...torque for days...a real stump puller for sure...but very smooth on delivery...sweet...I guess now I'm "gana" have to get my ass down there and hand over mine so I can be like my hero...

Once again Fuel has led the way so we all can follow with confidence...nice job Fuel...can't wait to ride that pig again... :D
