Being in the industry myself, I usually shy away from commenting on competitors products.

But of all the useless things you can put on your bike.

A color matched square, that you installl after you take off the original warning labels. What is wrong with just leaving them off? It will look the same after you blolw $20.00 on your color matched square and rivet it on.

THe chrome one I can half understand, although in my opinion it looks like junk.

I plan on drilling the rivets out, removing the plates and then just putting in new rivets. I can't see buying the same color plates just to get it to sort of match when you can just put in new rivets.

I just removed the warning, then cut out some white vinyl adhesive to put there. Looks pretty good. Cost was a waping $1.75.

You could just drill out the rivets and replace the warning labels with stickers, thats what i'm going to do and my ATVA membership sticker will fit perfectly in one of them.

You could always leave the warning labels in place. ? lol More than likely you are not the last owner of the bike.

I have to agree with Cernics...I'm just not feeling it...dog...

As for me?...I HAVE to leave the labels on because I need some reading material while I'm waiting for the SLOWER Yellow LTR's to catch up to me :p

I love a good running gag :D

i saw those covers and i thought the same thing. as for me i might just drill out the rivets and walk away, a whopping $0 dollar mod. just like the baffle/sparky mod i just did.

i just thought the joke ones would be funny. see how long it takes people to figure out they are about falling and getting hurt :p

If you want replacement warning lables you should check out hardlooks101.com. I have a set on my Z400 and they look sweet! I sent them my stock plates when I got my LTR so I could be the first with custom plates. He just emailed me and told me that the plates are ready. I don't know if he has them on his site yet. If not they should be soon. They can also make the plates custom for you with whatever you want them to say.

By the way this web site is the best and most informative site out there!! Keep up the good work!

I made my own out of Aluminum diamond plate. Just drilled out the rivets took the sticker plate off and made it the same size and put Stainless bolts back in...look pretty good in my book!!
