FYI - Speaking to a professional LT-R mechanic... I was told Valvoline 10w40 Durablend is the BEST oil to run. Nice being that Autozone has it for only $3.69/qt. The bikes are taking a full 2 quarts, which is over 1800ml.
Good oil, good price. Just wanted to pass this along.

I was told by a NASA aeronautics specialist and the creator of the cowbell to use synthetic water...

When you look the word OIL up, a synonym for it should be OPINION

I love Valvoline, been using it awhile and I'm glad that it is available at most stores with a auto section.

That sounds like an atvriders, 15 year old snot nose reply.
The reason why I use this LTR forum now, is to avoid those kinds of replies.
Keep it to yourself.

Kwad Gawd, please take it easy. A brand of Oil is kind of like a truck brand. Some guys are Ford lovers and some are Mopar lovers. Everyone has there own brand loyalty for some reason or another. EXCEPT CHEVY, I HATE MY CHEVY!!!!! I WANT A FULL SIZE THAT CAN TOW SOMETHING!!!!.....hehe...sorry had to let that out. So if you don't believe me make a post on Air Filters that Uni is the best filter or K&N, no matter what you pick someone else is going to like the other and say its better.

Well i can just fill with PROLONG, then go on a ride. Next drain out all of the oil and run it dry. That will make the bike have a KILLER sound kinda like a gear drive in a Big Block Chevy.

Do you guys suggest giving it a full two quarts? I remember hearing some one say that it made the tranny whine go away.

 Is it me or does it seem like this week is taking for ever?

Yea, it holds 2 quarts exactly. My tranny doesn't whine, not that I've noticed.
