So what were your beginning and ending weights on the rims/tires combo?...
[/b]
Yes, you are correct. Hipers do weigh more than red labels. And Sand Stars weigh more than Haulers. I was just comparing my old tire/rim combo to the new one. I know I could have saved alot more weight going in another direction, but I was set on hipers. And am happy with the results.IMO the weight you saved was in the tire. Those hipers more than likely weigh more than just red labels. You have to compare the hipers to other beadlocks. That's where you come out ahead in wieght and strength. I weighed my stock fronts at 16 and the rears were 16 also. I then weighed my hipers and klaws and the fronts were 16 still but the rears were 20. They are 9" dual beadlocks though and the rear 18" klaws are about two inches taller than stock and about an inch wider.

Hell yes...you better be happy...looks sweet...what made you decide on the knobbies on the fronts instead of some razors or mohawks?..
