Hi, when driving in high Rpms in 1st my ltr will jump up into 2nd gear then into 3rd by itself, anyone else had this problem and know what it could be?? Is it time for a gear box rebuild? If so what’s needed?

I had this issue . I replaced the shifter detent stopper shift cam, shift cam s

pring, cam stopper . It fixed my issue.

Alright mate did you do the work yourself? If so did you tighten #16 right down or is it supposed to be left a little loose?

I tightened it up according to the factory service manual
