My bud and I both ran Motion Pro's on our YFZ's and they sucked. First time he rolled his quad it cracked and he had to replace it. My biggest complaint was how short a rotation it had. You were ethier full throttle or idle, it was very difficult to really keep it in mid range. I was going to change to the YZ twist throttle but I sold my YFZ. I haven't really shopped around for any other brands yet since I can't get my LT-R for another year, but Motion Pro sucked.

My 400ex has a motion pro and it had it when I got it (so I don't know which one it is) and I love it! On mine the rotation distance is adjustable and hasn't let me down yet!

Correction I had a motion pro twist on my 400ex with no problems then I wrote "hasn't let me down yet!" and broke the throttle cable 2 days later lol! figures! Now I am trying to find the correct motion pro twist throttle conversion replacement cable and it is not easy supposedly there are 4 cables that they list for it no pics on the individual cables to match it up to mine and they are special order parts so if I order the wrong one I can't return it but I think (I hope) I ordered the right one? we'll see lol!

Try the suzuki one for the RMZ 450 mx bike. It basicly has the same engine but with carbs. Maybe it will work.

Motion pro makes a kit that includes a new throttle cable and grips. I ordered it last week and just received mine from them today. I think it was about $65 shipped. It may have been less but I did not pay attention. They shipped it out within a day of my order. I have not installed it yet but figuring that the plastic and tank needs to be removed to make it easier to route the cable, I would say it is going to be less than fun to install.
I will get to working on it in the next couple days.
