hey every one, me and my brother got to new LTR 450's and were still learning about it, I was wondering if we were to transport them standing up would there be a problem ? I heard that they are dry sump and don't want to get oil in places it doesn't belong and screw up 2 new bikes or is it a good idea just to buy a trailer and haul them around that way. All replies are welcome and thanks for the help.

wish I had it. I'm in Hawaii and my bike is in California. My brother found a place that was letting them go for 5100 out the door. So I had to jump on that deal. I'll be reading that as soon as I can, but thanks

Doesn't leaving your quad on the grab bar weaken it over time, i used to haul my yfz that way and now one of the weld that the bolts go to broke and now the whole bar moves. I'm just saying having all that weight on the back and it getting bounced around could bend some thing over time.
