Just wanted to put this out there,. we have 2 of these bikes and the oldest one (4 months old) blew the tranny yesterday. It just locked up in 4th gear and the bike skidded to a stop. we rolled it back and forth and now it will go threw the gears but the shifter is just loose, It flopps around and wont stay in gear. Its like the spring loaded pin that pushes against the shift drum just broke or came apart? Man I wish I could get my hands on one of those service manuals! Anyway, I called the shop I bought it from and they cant tell me if it will be covered under waranty! They said they would have to call Suzuki and find out? it is not 6 months old, dont you guys think it would be covered?
Has anybody else had this type of failure? If so did Suzuki take care of it?
