Alright, I pull my trailer with my wife's H3. The H3 is in the shop, and I don't know if I will have it back before this weekends Glamis trip...If I don't get it back, I will be using my in-laws Expedition. My power plug does not match to the one on the Expedition. It is an open trailer. I have heard that if you can see the taillights of the truck, you do not need to have the taillights on the trailer. I have never pulled my trailer without the lights hooked up. Does anybody know the rules? I will probably just go buy an adapter to make it work. Just wondering if what I heard is true?

That may be a state law ... I have never heard of it over here.

Look at it like this..... you want people to see you.... you want people to be aware when you are braking or turning.... especially towing.....especially your toys.

BUY the adapter --- less than a ticket -- A LOT less than an accident --- AND you will have it there for back up -- in case you need it again.
now go get it -- :whip:

I think you are right. I see trucks pulling cement mixers and stuff like that all the time with no lights.
