I just got my LT-R back from Trail Tech today. They borrowed it while I was out of town to do a moch-up for some new brackets that will hold their computers. I was told the "Vapor" will be out mid May, here is a clip of it http://www.trailtech.net/TrailTechTachTeaser.avi. They had one installed on a YFZ and it looked sweet. It has a tach, mph, temp, and shift lights. IMO a must for anyone riding in the dunes. While they had my bike they installed a pair of X bars for me with their bar clamp. They are a 7075 heat treated aluminum bars that are 1-1/8" but tappers to 7/8" at the ends so all the stock components fit. You have to go with a low ATV bend because the LT-R doesn't give you too much cable to work with, but I liked the position that my ended up in. The clamp is billet aluminum and is polished to a mirror finish. The guys at Trail Tech were very nice and friendly and I was very happy to help them out. I actually felt kinda bad dropping off my quad because it was still pretty dirty from trail riding, but I did wash it again once I got it back and took some quick pics for you guys.

NW, I can help you get rid of that black blob. I did the same mod this past weekend, and I turned out clean. I'm in P-town.

Yeah, give me until tomorrow...working late today and my seat is supposed to be ready for pickup today at Cascade. I think my bumper might be in today, too.

Ok, I'm back. Sorry, I 've been putting in some long days at work...and then some neighborhood punks broke into my house and stole my kids piggy bank and our camcorder. So, I've been sitting in the bushes with facepaint and a machete waiting for them to come back...but I'm done whining now. Here are some of the pics; I hope they are not too large for you non-broadbanders. Threw in a picture of my new seat for Jealousy Factor!

Grabbed the back with some vice grips and drilled the head with a 3/16ths bit, don't drill all the way through. I made that mistake with my Z and ended up just spinning the rivet. Just drill until the head comes off then pull the rest through the back with the vice grips.
