Alright, when it comes to wiring, I am kind of a WALLY. Looking at the wiring diagram(thanks Junkie) there are 3 wires coming from the headlight. Yellow=High beam, White=Low beam, and Black/Yellow which goes to the clutch switch. When wiring up the lights, you wire one wire from the TT light to either the Yellow or White, depending on what you want your lights to come on as, low or high setting. You take the other wire and wire it to a ground wire. Here is my question: I am going to wire one to the Yellow, tape up the White, and wire the the other wire to the Black/Yellow. Will the Black/Yellow wire serve as the ground wire or am I misinterpreting the directions. Anybody got any info. Thanks in advance.

I have the trail tech HID. Thats how I wired them. seems to work fine.
Yellow power
black ground.

No there is not...You wire them to either the high beam wire or the low beam wire from your ltr.

Good deal. I'm debating getting a set, so it will be nice to check yours out in person to help me decide. Also how did you mount them?

They mount with the top shock bolt. I really wanted the frame mounted ones, but where I wanted to mount them, it wouldn't work with the bumper. I just went with the MR16's. Wanted the HID's, but I couldn't see spending over 3 bills for them. I like the way they turned out.

did you get the 35w or 50w halogens ?

I was thinking of mabey doin the ones on the bar clamp but I'm not sure they'll work when I get the stem and bars I want.

I have both actually. I have the 35w in now.

very cool. so if you wanted to you can just use the key to turn the lights on and off and with a starter button you could get rid of the original combination switch. thank you.
