I hope you guys had a great time at Glamis -- wish I could have joined you. Would be a hell of a trek from NC. When JUNKIE scores his first mill. off the fiber -- we ALL do a ride -- his treat.

Just got back from dropping the kid's mini's off to get serviced and one fixed (brake issue). I picked up some new gear.... considering my old Jersey was cut off of me in the ER last month. Time to change colors anyway. No more yellow -- ALL black now.
HEY that's why I crashed -- Yellow GEAR -- it couldn't keep up with the WHITE quad. Makes sense -- I am headed out to the practice track in just a bit. I love doing the evening -- from 5-8 -- best time to ride IMO.

I am rambling because there are NO new posts to crack.

Just got back...yea yea...21 people showed up for this run...I'm going to nic name it the "Hardcore Run" because only us hardcore riders would even DREAM about showing up in Glamis in the middle of August...

No kidding... "but it's dry heat" --- I don't think it matters once it gets over 110 -- dry or not.

What was the temp ?

My truck said 98 when we left at about 9:30 ....... when your ridding it was not bad. Just dont stop.

Ordered a pair of 4-1 offset single beadlock front hipers - 290$ SHIPPED.

Cheaped out on replacing my tweaked dominator so I sent it out to Bill Bune to have him straighten it for me. Ended up being about 50 bucks, hopefully can avoid bending it again until RPM finishes redesigning the D2.

Would like to buy some new gear...not a clue which direction I want to go in that sense yet though

Yeah, it's a dry heat. But, so in an oven. My truck only said 93. Felt way hotter. Was a great trip, even in the heat. Will do it again in a heartbeat. When ridding, it was not that bad. GOOD TIMES. Nice to meet all you guys.

Yeah it gets pretty smokin' hot there during the day and fairly cool at nights right? What temps do you deal with?

Well thankfully I'm pretty far north but the day high is 120-130 and the nights cool off to like 95.

I can't wait to get back to Cali with nice decent weather.


The only break from the heat is when the sand storms come and I'm not sure that is a good trade off.

OK. I remember talking to a guy that was saying every bit of that hot and little cooler at nights. Although the nights still are warm, they had some sort of light blanket on them on nights just because of the extreme difference from the daytime temps

Philly, the front end was like a pillow...worth every penny IMO...I hit the whoops to the glamis store in 4th flat out...scooted my ass back and it just glided across the whoops...boy was that a intense rush...and it looks tight...hopefully I'll get some pics up in a day or two...had to clean up the garage for the new shipment of Junkie fiber...and it looked like a tornado hit it after that Chinese firedrill of a week...wow...
