it has come time for me to get new back tire's the stockers are just to short for where i ride, from hard packed with big ruts from big 4x4's to lose sand/rocks to mud. Imo thinking some hole shot XCR 20x11x9 is there better? http://www.magicracing.com/product.asp?itemid=176&catid=111, and also would it be worth it to go with the Douglas blue label .190 or are the .125's ok unsure.gif

I think most guys on here are gonna tell ya to go with the thicker rims. The .125's will bend a a wicked whoop so they may be a little light for ya. IMO (In My Opinion) :p

My buddy bought some of those a couple of weeks ago and he says they are GREAT...I'm going to buy the same tires for my beadlocks BUT...the .125 rim definately WON'T stand up to a 40' Junkie bike-eating razorback :(

As far as the face :p ?

I like the face :p

I'm planning on picking up some ITP T-9 Pro Baja wheels here shortly with the ITP XCT 23's for the front and 22's for the back. If your buying the meaty tire buy the meaty rim. :p I like the face too

ive heared nothing but good about those tires, but i still prefer the IRazr rears... cant find a better tire for the riding i do, which is usually in heavily rutted and super muddy quad and 4x4 truck trails. they cant really keep up with the holeshots on the hard-packed stuff (by hard packed i mean like the smooth as glass and hard as cement trails that the trails in the woods directly around my house turn into after a week of no rain) but they hold thier own on those trails none the less

p.s. go with the thicker rims... stockers bend way too easy

you should pick your rim according to your riding style. at a minimum go with the .190's but if you catch rocks on the slide sideways they still aren't the best. you might want to consider some bajas or lockers. i personally cant keep mine on the bead but i run nothing but harescrambles and we see some nasty off camber ruts that peel my front razr2s and rear gncc holeshots off regularly. i would recommend that tire combo to anyone who is in the woods. i have ran alot of different tires and these seem to bite the best for me.

im afraid i dont. fortunately i will be getting my hands on a new camera sometime in the near future when i start the turbo ltr project, but until then pics are gonna be hard to get from me, my camera has developed a habbit of taking extremely blurry pics

also i have no experience with the holeshot GNCC's and dont know anyone else who has either, nor have i seen any reviews or heared any info on them. they may be just as good, possibly a little better or worse. they might be worth looking into

I went ahead and bought the Holeshots...putting them on some bead locks I got from Fuel...as far as reviews? I think last months "Dirtwheels" had a shoot out with them and they said that the Holeshots are great tires..some of the best BUT...they do wear quicker :D

i went out and bought me a set today as well. i go through tires pretty damn fast, not to mention i noticed large chunks missing from the treads and a few long but not so deep gashes in my rears due to spinning tires through muddy ruts and catching a sharp rock now and then. but back to the point, i figured id give em a try since they will likely only last me another couple months, if i dont like em its back to razrs. or maybe ill try the holeshot GNCC's next. ill let ya know what i think of em son as i go riding again (might not be until memorial day weekend at PowerLine OffRoad Park in Ohio, im pretty well booked until then)
