I did some searching and didn't find anything, but I was riding blah blah blah tires caught and I tiped up on the side. The engine cut out, tip over sensor (?), flip it up and the FI light is blinking. I wasn't thinking straight after the hit and turned the key off immediately before I thought of counting the flashes. I'm assuming its from the T.O.S. being activated and cutting the motor, or does that not cause the FI light to blink?

I can't tell you 100% for sure, but when I rolled mine the exact same thing happened... No problems since except for the bent steering stem... lol... still gotta get a new one... Anyway... mine started right back up... I wouldn't even think about it again... I had no problems after that...

It will blink, but thats because the injection signal has stopped due to the tip over sensor being signaled that a tip over has occurred. The number of blinks doesn't matter unless its in "Dealer Mode"(You need a special switch for that) . There is an exception though and that is the FI light will blink quickly two times a second when the engine coolant temp. becomes too high. Service manuals are handy.
