Nice setup...but tell me, isn't the ladder on the back the most ignorrant thing you have ever seen? The new models have it on the side now...bastards! Oh, we have a KZ too (2005)...that is how I know.

very nice setup, I was very close to buying that same truck but then I decided to go with a chevy 3500 flatbed. It fits the Farm much more plus I can haul 4 quads on the back. I can't wait to get a Toy hauler like that though.

I have the mother of all tents...But only when the wife goes. Some friends of ours have a toy hauler, so that is nice also.

Don't worry to be honest we aint even hauled the quads in the 5th wheel yet. Mainly harleys. Got a 22ft. enclosed car hauler for the quads, put a sleeping compartment on front and a screen in back.

What did you do?

If you all look at the pics, you can see the permanent top of the ladder mounted to the top of the trailer and right above the door...the lower part of the ladder hooks over the top part and then has 4 pins you put in the door to hold it on...to lower the door you have to remove the ladder everytime! We finally just stopped carrying our ladder. :bangbang:

According to our dealer so many people complained that KZ moved the ladder to the left rear of the trailer where it is permanently attached.

Personally I like the ladder on the Weekend Warriors best...it is on the front nose of the camper. You have to stand in the back of your truck (or other vertical device) to reach the ladder to climb on top. Keeps kids from playing around and getting up there but nice and out of the way...Nice setup.

I spent many a night in a tent...and many more nights without a tent...with the kids, oh, the camper is so nice and so much easier for them.
