We have a vega that runs around here. It's not quite a sleeper though. It is yellow with a 383 stroker and a 6-71? blower sticking up through the hood. The car is tubbed out for big slicks on the rear. Pretty quick I'm sure :lol:

Back tires are 215/65-15. Very small for my engine, but the body is all origainal and so is the paint.Next year I am going to put the widest wheel and tire I can in the back with some street slicks.Here is the view most people are used to.[attachmentid=1355]The iroc will get smoked by the vega. But it is a clean car. Fun corner car. I have it at the shop where I work I'll try to get some pics up this week.

I always loved those cars. When I was in high school we were stuffin big 8's in them...it was all the rage...every speed shop in So Cal had a V-8 conversion kit for the Vega's...
Man those were the days...takes me back...

1974. It only has 16,000 miles on it. I've got some engine upgrades this winter planned.

I used to have a 72 with a 77 front end hatchback super street car... it had 377 and put out about 640 ponies. It was black with flames and ran 9s but in the super street class you could only run 10.90s. awesome car! everytime i see a vega i miss my old one!

I'm going to switch my frontend to a 71-72 and cut the middle out of the bumper. Split bumper vegas look tough, and I'll actually have a grill opening.
