What are some of your opinions that peeps will cross over from other brands to the new Zuk 450 for GNCC/XC FOR "06" ;)
Do you all think that they will wait a year to get the bugs,(if any) worked out before they would decide to make the jump?

i would say they are gonna have to wait until an aftermarket company comes out with some shortened a arms. That sounds really crazy, but most of the XC quads are stock width, with maybe another inch added or so. I would not be surprised if we saw minus 1-2 inch a arms for the xc racers. Maybe suzuki will come out with an XC version with all this already done.

im a woods rider and am seriously considering trading my Z in on one. I was planning on getting used hiper beadlocks 4+1 fronts and regular rears with an adjustable axle. Only thing thats holding me back is the price I can get an 06 honda 450 for 5699 at a big dealer and a ltr450 for 6999 at my local dealer. ltr is just alot more money even though I get a discount on all my parts at the local dealer.

EFI 3 dudes efi efi efi instead of 3 letters jet jet and some more jetting dude I push my button and its on Always sound good, and what a relief .... I should know I got a banshee I have not started since I picked up my ltr . trying to talk my wife into trail riding my banshee in PA with me so she can learn to shift... better

also read a write up in atv sport the issue with the great article on suspension adjustments ..... Racer Joe... they said that when they went into the trails in one section they thought it would be tight but they slowed down and it was good , more inches left on both sides than they expected.

i ran the gncc @ lorettas in tennessee and a hand full of local xc and havent found a single place where i didnt fit and only minimal sections where your wheel placement has to be more precise than the other 450's. the extra width on off camber corners and hillsides keep it glued to the ground and i can hold speed and sometime gain speed while others have to back off some. personal opinion: its already an excellent xc quad at stock width.
