So last weekend I stripped out my brass screw on the swirl tank. I have no idea how to get it out so I am just deciding to take it off and go inline. I am confused on how the T Brass fitting goes in and how the ventilation works. I just wanna get it done right the first time. I see some people have problems with the fuel filter running dry when they have 1/2 a tank left. I just wanna know how to avoid all problems and help others like me out! Thanks in advance.

dremel and a cutting wheel normally does wonders. Also why are you doing a swirl filter delete, what is the pro to doing this when its very easy to just replace the swirl filter.

Pretty much the only reason is because I stripped the screw and cant get it out

You mean you stripped the shut off screw or the screws that hold it together?

Sounds like you will have to get a new swirl filter unless you want take it apart. Most guys just remove the filter not the whole housing. I always recommend running the stock stuff since it has always worked for me without any issues.
