Swirl Filter Delete Help Requested

I just got into another LTR (07) and experienced the misfire and fuel starve symptoms constant with the swirl filter corrosion issue. Pulled the bowl off the swirl housing and wow, super crusty with rust galore. Curious about input on a delete. I've seen guys pull the swirl housing and run a T or Y fitting to replace swirl filter housing. What the best Y or T fitting to use in this scenario? The other alternative I am looking for input on - is it possible to gut the swirl filter, replace the uncoated bowl with aluminum bowl and just run the OEM housing gutted with a 35 micron Earls inline filter. Any pro tips on this matter is appreciated. Thanks!

*Fuel pump filter and injector filter look serviceable and unclogged.

What you said in the last is what I’ve run for 10 years. Earls 35, with nothing in the swirl bowl.
