Has anyone checked their stock suspension settings. Last weekend I was hitting a few decent size jumps with my LTR. The last jump of the day was a small table top. I didn't check it out before I jumped it, and ended up overshooting the landing by quite a bit. To my surprise the suspension bottomed out fairly badly. I guess my new Underbelly skid must have been a bit loose, because it slid back a couple of inches, and sort of screwed up the mounting bracket at the back. :bangbang: Last night I quickly checked the front compression settings, and it was a good turn softer than recommended in the manual. Considering your only supposed to adjust at 1/8 turns, it was pretty far out.

I want to check the compression on the back as well tonight, but I read that there is both a high and low speed setting. Should these both be adjusted proportionally. Also, are you supposed to turn the high speed dial with a socket?

Question # 2.
I tried checking the preload in the rear, as suggested by QUAD magazine. I noticed that both measurements (with and without the rider) were about half of the precentages suggested. Has anyone else tried this.

I'm definately no expert, but I would tighten up the compression to reduce bottoming out. Use preload adjustments to set your ride heights.
