Good story...

When the suspension comparison was going on there were alot of great shocks that came up, but one company everyone knew very little about, Stadium.

I also knew very little about them, and it turns out they are built in Quebec Canada, about one and a half hours away.

So after i read the comparison i never really looked into them, and nothing became of it. Not too long after i started racing the hare scramble series (FMSQ.net). My first time racing, no one knew me, and i started beating finishing in the top 10, then the top 5 and ended up on the podium twice. But no one knew who i was, except for my body who works at a large ATV shop in the area!

So who do i get a phone call from, Stadium, they had been watching me race, and landing on the podium on a completely stock LTR in the pro class, and want to see how well i will do with their shocks. The first thing i thought of was this site and how no one knows this company.

Last night i drove up to see them, they explained what makes their shocks work, what differenciates them from the competition, and how the company works. I was extremely impressed, they are extremely innovative, i cant say enough about how friendly and knowledgable they are. And being a smaller company, they are geared towards EACH and every pair of shocks they sell to their customers. They ask about every aspect of your machine and how you ride it to make sure the shocks are spot on! You can also specify how you want your shocks built, progressive springs, dual, triple, quad rate, what kind of resivoirs (size, color and type), what kind of adjustments you want, what kind of hiem joints, ect. there is no part of the shock that cant be modified. For one customer they shaved 20 lbs off his quad by using all aluminum componants for flat track, now thats impressive!

They showed me how the shocks were assembled, how adjustable they are, EVERYTHING... they blew my mind!

So now my Staduim shocks are in the mail and im dying to try them. I should have a complete ride review up by the weekend of the 14-15. I told them today (wednesday) that im going to take them up on their offer and they will have them on my door step next week!! Impressive, the longest build time you can expect in their busy season is 2 weeks and they express post them to you. THey have extremely fast turn around for servicing shocks, they service any shock on the market, and are very good to work with. They also do dirt bikes, street bikes, snowmobiles and rally cars.

Right now ive never dealt with a shock company like this, and will get to ride them shortly. Ive ridden numerous different companies, and cant wait to add these to the list. With 23 years of experience behind them im sure i wont be dissappointed. Ive heard people talking about how fantastic they are but I will know for sure soon enough!

Sorry for the long story, but im very pumped!!

I will have all the info next week, you will be amazed how awsome these things look. The piggy backs are huge, very sharp looking!!

No matter what the shocks are like, the customer service is top notch, hard to find!! And i cant wait to see how close they get the valving, it should be 110%, the only thing he didnt ask me was how often i cut my hair, lol!!

Great write-up...feel free to copy this review into the shock companies thread. That was just a post from my general experiences and thought it would help those looking, I'm not the only one who was allowed to post experiences in there :)

Ive never seen this on any other shock, but the top hiem joint on the Stadium shocks are threaded to double as a ride hieght adjustment.

And if you ever get a different bike, they will shorten, lengthen, modify and revalve them to work on your new bike...

They have the best costumer service! Stadium is way better than you guys think!

My cousin has them and my two other friends have them and they said that stadiums are way better than axis, elka, and pep.

WOW!! Out of all the shocks ive tried ive never experienced a ride like this before! The shocks go hand in hand with the customer service... FANTASTIC!!!

Even when i first jumped on the bike, with only the preload adjusted, nothing else (the valving they set me up with was so close i didnt have to adjust anything to get a great ride), the bike was 100% predictable. They even told me roughly how many clicks to adjust everthing to, and they were dam close!!

I was playing with the rebound on the rear shock... some shocks compression is slightly effected by the rebound, not these, and the rebound was so adjustable it would go from practicaly no rebound damping to taking a few seconds to reach the top, so its very easy to suit your taste 100%.

In the front the shocks are longer then stock, so even when coming out of a corner hard on the throttle, when the front wheels would lose touch, these wont and steering is still there. When i added the rear shock (i put only the fronts on and tried it) the power was layed to the ground much better and the bike remained easier to steer and ready for what ever was coming. Launching was also much better, more traction, less wheelie.

Sitting on the seat, going through rough sections the bike was smooth steering and my butt would never get bucket off the seat. Standing up the bike would track straight and flat, never bucking and always smooth. Even noticing holes and sharp bumps at the last second were a breeze. I would clentch as if it was going to really hurt and it would soak it up like it wasnt even there, the VRDS system is impressive.

I was so happy with these shocks i was almost in tears, i couldnt believe what i was feeling! Ive ridden this trail many times, with different set ups, and its as if someone packed the entire trail smooth.

At the end of the day, i wasnt beat up, my hands had no blisters, and i could have kept riding all night. I cant get over how fantastic they were. It corners better, i can ride faster and keep the pase longer, i have way more confidence, the bike is 100% predictable, it feels like you are riding a dirt bike its so smooth. Id recommend these shocks to ANYONE!

I cant wait for the race this weekend, it almost feels like im cheating with these shocks!

If anyone wants any info on these shocks, or has any questions, PM me. Ill be glad to help! I can get some good deals!

Yesterday was our final Harescramble of the year. It was the provincial championship. All the best ridders that come to these races were there.

Even tho i had trail ridden these shocks for a day, during the race they really showed me what they were all about. I was having more fun, I was driving faster because the bike was stuck to the ground better and ready for anything i needed it to do. I no longer had to hold on for dear life cause the bike was stuck under me and wasnt giong ANYWHERE! I had so much energy during the race i was more alert in the woods section where i could keep a strong pace, in the rough section i could hold it to the bar and not worry about losing control, and i had so much energy id see 2 bumps up ahead i was doubling them as if i was trail riding, i was having a great old time.

No word of a lie i looked at the clock for the first time and i had been ridding for 1 hour and 13 minutes. It felt like i had been riding for 20 minutes. I was able to keep the same pace the entire race! People that were outrunning me toward the end of the race were no where to be found. I had a minute lead that was deminished from 2 pitt stops in one lap (gas, i dont have a quick fill, and i thought the bike was over heating so i had to stop and check the rad). I lead about 2/3 of the race and was passed in a mud hole abour 30 seconds before the end of the race and finished 10 seconds behind the winner (which was the time it took to scan us both in cause we pulled in together. It would have been my first pro win, but i guess ill have to wait till next year!

The shocks never faded, and even with all the mud (i almost dropped it pulling it out of the pick up truck) they still performed AMAZING!! It was a great race!!!
