don't overlook the obvious...did you spill any one the motor??? I got a little anxious my first oil change because I found baby mice in a nest on top of the fuel injector and forgot the motor side cap and squirt some oil onto the exhaust and some smoke came from that...damn mice...only sat there for like 4 days too...

Eeek...this is getting worse by the minute... :(

if it wasn't such a PITA to get the tank off I would suggest you check your compression...

Yeah white is definitely oil! I remember a guy at my local races in A class had his oil ring go bye-bye and it looked like one of them stunt/acrobatic airplanes with the smoke. He finished second but took the cylinder.

I'm guessing you put a tad too much in. It's the 3rd time you changed it? So that would mean you don't have that much time on the engine, unless you don't change the oil that often, which could increase the potential for more wear on the cylinder and rings along with the rest of the engine.

Good luck

I thought white smoke is Coolant/antifreeze, and blue is oil. With white smoke coming out and your coolant level low maybe there is a leak, (headgasket etc.). Is there water in your oil? Did you overoil your air filter? I did this on my 400EX and made it blow a little smoke when I revved her. Used less oil next time and it was fine.
