i have been to little sahara twice. i havent been to silver lakes but we planned a trip there once because its MUCH closer to PA. we didn't go because of the crappy weather. Also, they have this 'voucher system' where you have certian times allowed on the dunes. (check out the link below, i just skimmed through). the website should tell you what you need to know.

i would recommend little saraha. but that depends on where you live because there like 1000 miles apart. at little sahara you can ride all day and all night for 7$.

though it would be pretty cool to have a lake to mess around in too. at little sahara there is always these huge ponds behind some dunes that could make up for the lack of a lake

i heard that you need a spark arrestor and your quad has to have a sound decimal test. i could be wrong

Does anyone know for sure if you have to have the spark arrestor in michigan? How much does it cost to ride? and is Little sahara better?

Your supposed to but sometimes they don't check. Last July my friend and I went. He had LTE Piped raptor with spark arrestors out and i was on my trinity banshee with no spark arrestors. The first day they didn't check but the second day they checked his and i guess they didn't know what to look for or just read the label that said spark arrested cause they let him by. That was at siverlake. 21 hour drive from SW florida. Dunes are the best.

I have never been to Silver Lake so all information is second hand...LS, OK has a larger area to ride and I believe the dunes are taller. Ammenities at LS are pretty nice if you have a camper...water and electric.

LS, OK requires a 10' (measured from the ground) flag.

I say go to LS...maybe some of us could hook up.

I have a few (crappy) pics on my website of LS...click on the link in my sig.
