Shifter Shaft

After riding this last weekend my shifter has 2-3 inch of play. It's so sloppy it's hard to get it into neutral.
Anybody else have this problem?

You'd have to be dry-rocking those shifts at some really odd RPM's to be able to break a shift-fork that quick. I'd drop it off at the dealer, and make sure they cover it under warranty
I definitely worded that wrong...shifting without a clutch at given RPM's where the motor does not want to naturally shift without the clutch pulled.

Was not insinuating that he did indeed break it, was simply trying to disprove the chance of it being broke. Alot in how you read it I guess, most of what I was saying was based off the title of the thread
