Okay so you know I took my quad to the shop to get the brakes fixed and the first service. Well after 5 weeks my parents went and picked it up. Yea great! WAIT! Well when they did the service it seems they took my BRAND NEW Pro Armor Frame Skidplate off and didn't put it back on. So now my dad is trying to get them to find my old one or buy me a new one. That thing only had like 2 rides on it!!!

Plus now it turns out my quad falls in the recall. So my parents have to get that straightened out. I feel bad for my parents having to deal with this, but this shop is starting to piss me off. If they give my parents any trouble I'm going to call from here and chew some ass.

What do you mean failed the recall? As i understand only 3 ways it goes

1. frame came from factory with welds all the way around the washer = no recall.

2. welds not all the way around, but no cracks = recall calls for welds to be added.

3. welds not all the way around, and cracked = recall calls for new frame.

I dropped it off on like April 25th or something when I was on leave. My parents picked it up for me about a week ago. After they got it home my Dad noticed the skid plate was gone when I asked him to check the VIN.

What'd they say about the recall?

There were good about it. The service manager said just bing it down any time, which I did on Saturday. They do not have a welder on site, but do have a certified welder that does it in his shop. They're backed up right now so it might take a week or two.
