Hey, just found these stainless steel oil filters and was reading up on them. http://www.scottsonline.com/products.php?PartType=3 Anyone ever used these or know anything about them? $70 for a oil filter is kinda pricey even if you dont ever have to replace it.

You can get a SS filter for around $50 but is there any way that they can filter as good as a paper filter? I think the cost of the filter might be the cheap part.......

I think that I will sleep easier knowing that I have a fresh filter in my bike after the oil change I did that day :D Maybe I am just a weirdo.. You cant beat 6 dollars for a paper filter either

i used a SCOTTS in my cannondale.they are a high quality filter.get you a clear plastic bag and fill it up with alcahol drop in your scotts shake it real good .cleans your filter and you can inspect whats material is in the bag if there is any.
