It is completely possible. But is completely rediculous. Fuel injection is where it is at. Tuning alone is easier as long as you know what you are doing. This has been addressed before. :searchplz:

You give a shade tree mechanic a carb and he can work on it. You give him that new fangled EFI Thinga Ma Jig and he's stumped. He'll figure a way to tune that sucker even if it means putting on a carb.

I prefer one tool does it all. The quad will tune for altitude to a certain degree. Come winter time I don't have to worry about being lean and when I get the cash I'll get the fimak to go with the pim then I just hit a couple buttons and voila I have my adjustment. No need to smell like gas or freeze your nuts off.

Hey...that Rolex has seem more dirt than the underside of most people's bikes...I wear it in every attic I crawl into and everytime I work on a car or bike...I abuse the crap out of that thing and it has hung with me...one of the best investments I have ever made...I would recommend one to anyone...
But it still hasn't gotten me on TV... :(

I'm sorry...what was the topic???? :p

Maybe after the efi is converted to a carb, the displacement could be downsized to 400cc, the shocks could be swapped out for preload adjustable only garbage, the swingarm could be shortened and changed to aluminum, etc., etc.

In my opinion EFI is one of the best features of the LT-R450. :pimp:

I haven't heard of anyone needing bigger injectors myself. I really don't think you will need bigger injuectors unless you do some MAJOR and I mean MAJOR mods which 99.9% of people won't be doing.

Fuel pressure regulator would be great.

It has one.... there is no way it could work without it. Everytime the pump came on without starting the engine, it would overpressure hoses and whatnot without a regulator. It is bolted to the bottom side of the tank. :)
