i know this might sound stupid to all reading this, and that I might be, but enough about me, can someone out there in La-La-Land help?

Looking for some pictures (Step By Step) on what hoses to remove, and when, clips etc, to get the fuel tank off.... and back again

What happened was, that i removed my tank to clean the bike and get to the throttle body intake, as the air filter i was using, let thru a lot of dirt. So the task was simple, take the throttle body off, clean and replace. Did that, Left it for 2 weeks (Work), started to put every thing back together this morning and found myself strugling to put this damm thing back. I have never had a problem like this. It just seems like the tank doesnt want to slip into place.

Emabarraced to ask.........

The stock one was ripping, so decided to use a foam filter from White Bros. This was actually one designed for the LTZ400, but I figured, with a bit of motivation it would fit, and it did. What I did not realise was, when you stretch the foam filter, the material's air holes stretch as well, therfore letting the fine sand move freely thru. When I removed it for cleaning I noticed some dirt going into the duct feeding the throtle housing, so decided to clean it all up.

Anyway, got the tank back. After writing the post, went back and "motivated" it to go into place.

So, sorry for the thread, but maybe it can help the next person.

My next quest would be to go to my dealer on Saturday and try and get the grey clip required for the Fuel line under the tank. Seem to have misplaced it somehow. So no riding this weekend.
