Any opinions on coolants? I have to change mine soon and I got this stuff called cycle logic engine ice. supposed to be pretty good from what I hear, but I didnt really think there was that much of a difference between coolants. What do you guys think?

IMO coolant choice is the same scenario as what motor oil to run...take a look at what is out there and make your decision. I run Evans and I am very pleased with its performance.

They all do the same thing. Cool engines. Only you need to watch out for some of the products. Will they corrode them metel of the radiator/water pump/engine. You will need to research alittle. Don't know about the LTR yet but the LTZ cases were made of magnesium and some of the coolants SEVERELY corroded the pump and internal engine cooling areas.

i used engine ice on my old ds650 and my brother uses it on his 450r and we encountered no problems with it, but then again we haven't tried others. but why fix something thats not broke. i will be running it on my ltr when the time comes for the coolant to be changed.

Evans here like OKTRX450R. Make sure you run the Race since its thinner and you should run Evans Prep first to get all the water out of you system. I have not had to add any to the system since switching over to it. Biggest plus to using it, there is no water in it to cause corrosion.
