I used one of those once then threw it away. Once you take the flag out, and if you are tall, when you hang your ass back over the seat, that thing is pointed straight up into a very personal area. I had to learn the painful way, its very humilating to get jabbed in the (do I have to say it???) by a whip holder.

I prefer the clamp kind. I don't pull a flag on and off that much to need a quick release and when you snap a flag it's easier to "ghetto fab" something with the clamp on, imo.

I have never had any luck with this type of whip holder...

I now run the springs...I leave the springs on the bikes and just screw in the whip each time when we get there....

The spring and whip we use are $20 and carry a lifetime warranty!!! Break the whip and take it in and they hand you a new one...

I have only broken one in 2 years...

I do not think so...Firestick makes me think of CB whips...also, lifetime warranty!

These are whips from either Little Sahara Power Sports or Jims Sand Toys...same thing, same price.
