It will definatly sound different, but it might make a very small change in power.

I'd recommend leaving it in...quieter machines will only lead to more available riding areas

Agreed....sure most people have always associated LOUDER with FASTER...MORE POWER, etc.

Let's start a new trend. Don't get me wrong.....I am a Harley guy...I love a deep-throaty sound.
But we are already catching hell...and the more quads that are out there.... the more sh## they will throw at us.

Loud does not equal power --- and power does not have to be "overly-loud".

Excellent come backs guys...yes quieter bikes will lead to more areas...this is pretty much a given...

It would be nice if manufactures would be a little more conscience of this fact when they are developing these things...don't get me wrong....I think I have the loudest damn pipe out there...and that fact has kept me from heading out to Pismo...the thought of having to change out my pipe to go riding isn't a HUGE deal but it still kills me...

Then again...most of our riding is out at Glamis and those guys could care less...weird huh?...Same state...different attitudes...

The difference in Top end is Huge, if you race Use it.

If you just trail ride, in enviromentally sensitive areas then dont.

Kyle....I think you accidentally put that backwards.

"if you race Use it." ----- If you race DON'T use the sparky -- take it out.
"If you just trail ride, in enviromentally sensitive areas"...... leave it in.
