i was at the super sand show this weekend, and at the quad tech booth they had an ltr with a couple of new products. they had fuel pump cover, a rear brake cover, and a battery relocator setup. the battery set up, would put the battery right behind the bumber, underneath the stem, and they had a carbon fiber plate where the battery originally went. i asked when they would be available and he said in a few weeks, and the battery setup is still in development because he said the rewiring system was done really crappy, so they will probably get that fixed before they sell it. i ended up buying a hump seat foam and cover, and a beak. i paid 130.00 for the seat and 50.00 for the beak, my brother got one for his 450r and it was also 130.00 for the hump seat and cover, i just love the sale prices at the super sand show. i went over to their shop on monday to get the seat foams and covers put on for free. and i was talking to one of the workers there. he told me they were going to be coming out with a full hood for the ltr. he said it was going to look like the yfz hood, with the difference being it was going to have two vents compared to one. also he said it should be available in a couple weeks, with it first coming out in plastic. he said the carbon fiber they use on the hoods is different than the one they use on the other parts. sorry no pics, but maybe somebody else who went to show may have snapped some. sorry for the essay.

I have a bunch of pics of that bike but I can't seem to get the damn things to load. I took them with my daughters camera and the files are so HUGE that it chokes the server...anyways...yea it wasn't a bad looking kit ...

The fake KFX450 was funny...I walked by as they were bringing it in and I lost the guy pushing it into the crowd...took me 10 minutes to find him again...in the meantime I called FuelATV and told him I saw the new Kawi...

Boy was I embarressed to tell him it was just a YFZ with a Kawi motor in it...

Looked good though...

Oh yea...any help reducing these pics? PM me... :(

Jake..here's the problem..the damn pics are a minimum of 2.76 MB EACH...it would take me a year just to upload them IF my Verizon server would let me...someone is mailing me Photoshop so I can resize them...

THEN I'll post them...demmit...

Unless you have a better idea?..

Try monkeying around with microsoft paint...no jokes. Images a bit above the 800x600 mark will still upload to the HQ server just fine, normally want to go a bit smaller than that so they're easier to view, but they'll work nonetheless. Play with different numbers under the stretch/skew tool in paint (under the images tab). Will most likely end up using a number in the 30% range or so for the horizontal/vertical boxes if reducing the size of pictures off a digi-cam. Then when you saveas just make sure to use "save file type" as a .jpg (jpeg) and everything will work just fine.

Photoshop is powerful and works great if you have it...but no reason to slow down if you don't ;)
