I was wondering where you guys think quads will be in 5 years?

I think that they will definately be bigger then bikes. They already out sell the bikes and the market is growing at a fast pace. The Factories are no longer scared to make mx bikes. Bike factories are starting to make quads(KTM). X-Games for sure. It will be the biggest hit. People flip out when they see that guys are throwing around 150-200lbs. bikes, how bout add 2 more wheels and double the weight. Its already been shown at many events that people love it. I believe in 5 years, we'll be watching GNC every other weekend on ESPN. Stadium racing is mostlikely going to come back too in the winter too. Basically, this sport is blowing up and rising to the top and cant wait to see all of us that are comming up to the pro class. Tracks are getting longer, Jumps are getting bigger, and riders are getting better.

^Weird!

But on a related note, I think quads in the media are going downhill with them being cancelled bla bla....I don't remember all the details but Its not good. People seem to love watching dirtbikes on tv instead of quads. <_<

id watch quad mx over bikes, but i think quad freestyle is pointless, i dont see any quads doing underflips and 360s, so i dont think its nearly as exciting

I really would like to try a DB style tail whip on the LTR

i actually want to try a flip, or atleast on a pitbike, i do them all the time on skis, and i know that atleast there, its really not hard at all, its just all about committing to the rotation

Committing to the flip is the biggest issue. If you have flipped in other situations, it wont be that bad. I dont think i would try with the LTR though. Its a bit long, and i think with the way the weights distributed you would have a very hard time brinnging the rear up and over

i was gunna use my R or maby even the blaster haha, but most likely the laeger, its light, has a short wheelbase, has plenty of power, and has the best suspension out of any of my quads

flippings nothing that u just say u wanna try lol. have u ever hit a kicker ramp with a landing? that takes balls just to do that, then to do a flip, or something.... def hard. how many people in the world can do a flip on a quad?? i wouldnt say over 10.

as for the quads in 2013, i think there gunna be liight as hell. i also think aftermarket busniness like fox, yoshi, pep, elka, walsh, jb, and so on will all come out with insane products. when does fox say there commin out with the air rear shock? this fall?

street legal in all 50 states. It's only a matter of time before the gov realizes how much tax money their losing by not legalizing quads for street purposes. Alot of people want better fuel economy but don't want that stigma attached with Harleys or rockets. A quad however would be acceptable. And if US auto manufactures were to get a jump on design or a tax break, maybe they could compete with imports. And i think the fad would grow fast, boosting our economy.

I never understood why bikes and trikes were legal but quads were not.
